Intern with C3!
Catalystic Cadence Collective, Inc (C3) is a 501c3 figure skating company in Boulder. We are engaged in instruction, training, and multimedia entertainment. We are proud to be listed with numerous accredited Colorado colleges and universities as a provider of quality internship positions for undergraduate students who excel in their field.
We accept applications year-round from qualified students whose goals are in line with the purposes of C3, are registered at a Colorado college or university, carry at least a 3.0 GPA, and show promise as a C3 Intern. There is no requirement that interns have figure skating or performance experience; however, interns with experience in the field may be granted in class and rehearsal opportunities as well. The Director supervises C3 Interns and will design a plan that supports everyone's needs. We offer up to 4 individualized positions each academic year to the right people, in one of the following roles.
Program Intern - assists with various tasks related to C3 programming; including instruction, performance, and production. Ideal for those interested in teaching, performance, theatre, and/ or the figure skating industry.
Office Intern - assists with various tasks related to general C3 administration; including finance, grant-writing, public/ member relations, and publicity. Ideal for those interested in non-profit development and/ or finance, office work, grant writing, organizational research, marketing, social media, and management. Applicants MUST have good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Publisher, and Gmail.
All applicants must be prompt, reliable, organized, articulate, motivated, interested, and passionate with a professional demeanor and knack for interpersonal communication & social skills. Communication by email is mandatory. Internship positions are un-paid, but active interns do receive fantastic benefits! Once hired as an intern, you are regarded as a Guest Member. This means COMPLIMENTARY attendance in group classes on and off the ice, the ability to audition and perform with our company, and much more. Outstanding internships may lead into company membership or employment with C3 Ice Academy.
This is a wonderfully unique program. Successful applicants' work schedules and assignments are based on both C3 activities and college requirements. We are prompt in communication with your department and provide thoughtful and thorough documentation of your time with us. We are pleased to offer various online & independent project options so commuting is not a problem for those not in Denver/ Boulder.
